After 10 days in Switzerland flew back to Eastbourne, however this time not alone. My mum and my aunt came with me in order to stay for nearly a week. The flight went well and we arrived in Eastbourne after a short train ride from Gatwick airport at around 1pm. On the grounds that we weren’t able to enter our holiday flat before 3pm we went to get some lunch and ate at the beach. The weather was fabulous and the sushi was delicious. After a bit we made our way to the flat. It was simple but had everything essential and was pretty cozy. For dinner we headed for an Italian place, which was the right choice.

On the next day we took a train to London Bridge. I had put together a day program for London. First, we visited the Borough Market. I had loved it the last time I was there, so I had to show my mum and my aunt. Because it was a Friday there weren’t too my people. They really enjoyed it and I did as well. After lunch we made our way via the Southbank to the big ben. I took a lot of pictures because there were so many fabulous opportunities. There are always a lot of buskers near the London eye, it was really impressive and interesting to listen to them. We reached the Big Ben and took some pictures. St. James’s park was what we were next heading for. My aunt has a friend that has lived in London for over 45 years now. We met up with her and spent the rest of the evening with her. We had some amazing conversations, and it was interesting talking to a “local”.

On Saturday we planned a rest day. I showed them my favourite Café, the town centre and Eastbourne in general.

On Sunday we went to Brighton. I was really looking forward to that, because I love this city. We walked through the lanes and visited a lot of cute quickly shops. We drank coffee at a cozy bakery and visited the Royal Pavillion. I had been to a Japanese/Korean restaurant twice before and the poke bowl were so delicious, we had to go there. And again, it was sooo good. In one jewellery shop I took a few pictures with my camera. The owner asked me if I would be up to taking a few more and sending them to him. I loved the idea and went ahead. We had a really nice conversation, and I sent them to him the same evening. He loved them so much.

On our way home we stopped in Lewes, a cute, old town. The evening sun was out and there weren’t many people. I was able to shoot a few pictures of squirrels. OMG were they cute. And not shy at all. I bet people are able to pet them. Then we continued our journey back to Eastbourne.
