At the beginning of this week my mum and my aunt were still here in Eastbourne. We were staying in a holiday flat near the sea so we thought it would be the right opportunity to go and watch the sunset. We had to get up at 5:50 am, because to sun was rising at 10 past 6. It was very cold and I was extremely tired, nonetheless, it was totally worth it. There were no clouds and the sun was going up on the right side next to the pier, which created a gorgeous silhouette of it. After the sun had risen, there was a golden light shining in the other direction. I had never5 thought of the part of a sunrise.

In the afternoon and wanted to show my mum and aunt Hamden park, as had recently been spending so much of my free time there. In addition, I had to show them my “family” (pigeons :3) The sun was out and it was a beautiful day. I was able to get a pigeon to sit on my hand which does not happen very often. Such a cutie :33

On Wednesday my mum and aunt went on their way to Gatwick in order to fly back home. It was a wonderful week with them. We did so many fun things and I just loved it.

This is how far I am with my art project. I will be starting to use acrylic paint now.

On Friday morning we went to a forest full of bluebells to do English. I love the way we do things like that. The main goal was to record a “radio show” with a friend. That radio show exists in real life as well. It is called the desert island disc. You get to choose eight songs that you would take on an abandoned island with you, only eight! It was nearly impossible to choose the songs, because how am I supposed to make a choice between Black Star by Radiohead and Don’t Look Back In Anger by Oasis?! I eventually got my songs and we started recording. I really enjoyed sitting there, next to a lake in the forest. We had a lovely time.

On Saturday we went to Hastings. I had only ever been there for a Battle festival, however that did not take place in the town itself. Hastings has a modern town half and a cozy old town. We spent most of our time in the second. Having eaten lunch on steps in front of a beautiful Church I wanted to go up the hill. Due to the fact that Lenas foot is injured and Soraya has issues with her knees I went alone. The walk up was quite exhausting, nonetheless, the view made it absolutely worth it. I was able to see all over Hasting and out into the sea.

On Sunday I decided to walk to town and have lunch in one of the parks. I got myself a tomato mozzarella salad and a Brezel and found a cozy bench in the park. After I decided to go to the café to finish cutting my radio show project. Every weekend there is a band playing in the café/ bar so after finishing my work I was able to listen to a small concert. It was amazing.
