Holidays!!! My parents were coming over for a week. They arrived on Sunday after lunch, and we had tea with my host family. Even though my parents english is not too good, they were able to have a chat with them. After about an hour I took my luggage and put it into the caravan we were spending the next week in. We went to get dinner and spent the night at beachy head after. It was a very windy and cold night. On the next morning, we drove in direction Portsmouth. On our way we stopped in Arundel. A cozy and beautiful village. There was a massive castle on the hill, but it was sadly closed, so we weren’t able to enter. But there was a stunning cathedral instead. I loved it there.
After two hours of driving, we arrived in Warsash, a village close to Portsmouth. We walked to the sea, after we had checked in on a camping. There was a big Harbour with dozens of ships. Really impressive. We went to get a drink in the Rising Sun and walked back later. I noticed all the cozy houses. I could really imagine living in one of these someday.
On the next day we drove to Portsmouth. There was a big outlet shopping centre, and we took the change to get some things. I found a beautiful green pullover in the Superdry store. We ate lunch at a Japanese restaurant. It was really good. After, me and my mother got tickets for the Spinnaker tower. We got into a lift and in seconds we were more than a 100 meters of the ground. The view was amazing. We were able to see all of Portsmouth. There was even a café on the second floor, with was sadly full. Instead, we went to get bubble tea. Which it was honestly a bit disgusting. Ups… Portsmouth is not the most beautiful city I have ever seen, but definitely one of the most impressive ones. I would recommend it.
