This week was kind of different. We didn’t do much at school, because the following week will be holydays. We did a scary movie project at in class. We had to film a shot movie in groups, and it was supposed to be scary. We had time to finish the project on Monday. Soraya, Lisa and I had to finish the scene, where someone was being murdered in the bathroom, who was me. After a lot of tries and stains of fake blood we were finished. I can’t really tell if the movie is scary, but the outtakes are definitely funny. I went to get a coffee and a red velvet cake with Soraya later that day. It was cozy after all.

On Wednesday I had a long break in the afternoon, and I decided to go get some shells. My host father told me about a beach at the edge of Eastbourne, where I would be able to find dozens of shells. And he was right. After a 35 minutes’ walk, I arrived there and found a lot of them.

In the evening there was a pumpkin carving event at school. We had about an hour time to carve any design we wanted into a pumpkin. I chose to do a cat, and it went pretty well. It was tricky at the beginning, but I started to get the thrill really fast. While we were working, our teachers cooked pumpkin soup. I honestly didn’t really like it. Mr Sundby prepared a Halloween quiz. It was fun to participate, but we did very poorly. But I won a price for the third best pumpkin in the end.

Lisa was bit jealous of all my shells on Wednesday, so we decided to walk to the beach again on Saturday. The weather was supposed to be good, but It started to rain after lunch. But it wasn’t for to long, so it was fine. We got food at the Kokoro restaurant and ate it at the beach. As we were watching the sea, we suddenly got the urge to go swimming. We did not have our bathing suits with us. But we went through all that trouble and went first to my place and then to hers to get them. And then we stood there, in only our bathing suits. The ait temperature was 12 degrees. And it was f*cking cold. We rushed and rain into the water. Everything was alright, but our feet were dying. We had to get out after a few seconds, because the rocks were hurting to much. We said we would go again but get shoes first. Then we walked all the was back to town and I burnt my tongue at a hot soup with ramen.
