On Tuesday morning my bus was cancelled, so I decided to walk to school. I had about 35 minutes and I kind of liked it. I started doing it more often now. It also is less stressful. The buses aren’t reliable, so it is good to know, that I always have the option to walk. I really like morning here in Eastbourne. It is always a bit foggy and quiet. Here in the uk, the people start working later than in Switzerland, so I am basically alone on the streets by the time I must go to school. I’ve started noticing a few beautiful buildings and even took a view pictures.
I was a bit sick on Friday, so I stayed at home. I had a cold, but it is nearly gone now. I felt a bit better on Saturday, so I was able to go to the Battle of Hastings re-enactment. I went there with no expectations. I didn’t know what was waiting for me. But it was amazing. There were people dressed up and paying old instruments. And then they replayed the Battle of Hastings. Hundreds of men dressed up, with swords, shields and spears. They showed the story of the Battle. Some were on horsed, some on feet. It was pretty interesting to see how it all went. But I have to say, in obviously was not too realistic. They also built a small town where you could buy horns, cloth and jewellery. I took the change bought a few rings. I am wearing them everyday since.
On Sunday I went into town to get some things. Just essential things like shampoo, toothpaste and so on. After walked to too the bookshop to see, if they had anything for me. I was a bit late, so they were just closing. I decided to just go again the next day. After all it was a cozy and chill Sunday.
