Every morning, I get downstairs to eat breakfast and bold lays on the armchair that I always sit on, instead of his bed. My host mum says it is because it smells like me, like aww, I want to take him home with me. I really wouldn’t have called myself A dog person before I got here and I still do like cats more, but I realized dogs can be so cute and loving as well (not the breeding breed ones, I just feel sorry for those ones honestly). But at the end of the day, I would bet a bee if could, so no wonder I love dogs too.

The weather this week was pretty nice as well, so I decided to work on my art project in the school’s garden. I wanted to redo my paining of the special week, but this time with a bit more knowledge of what could go wrong. My art teacher bought me a round canvas, which fit way better to the design that I square one. I also changed my colour palate, form a blue/ purple, do a red/ terracotta/ beige (my current favourite colour combination). I talked to my friends about whether they had a favourite colour combination and most said no!! What do you mean NO??! Why not? Like come on, I even have a favourite animal combination. Like pigeons and ferrets fit together so well, they give off the same vibe. Anyway, I worked on that project on Wednesday afternoon because I was waiting for my friend Lena. We were going out for dinner; however, she had school till 4pm. I accidentally made a hole in my canvas with the compass. I’ll see how I can fix that, but that the problem of my future me, as Livia would say.

As Lena finished her German lesson we went down to the beach. Having the ocean 3 minutes away from the school is such a privilege, like what do you mean, I can just eat my, lunch at the beach?? (Probably not the best idea, the seagulls like my lunch more that I do) After we went to eat ramen, hihihi.

On Saturday we went to Camden market in London. To get there we had to go on the underground which was horrible. It was full, loud and the air was so bad, it felt like I could breathe anymore. But anyways, I survived and was ready for the market. It was very impressive but sadly there were way too many people. I honestly felt a bit overwhelming. I saw some really nice rings, but obviously did not buy an, which I do regret very much. We got into a conversation with a jewellery maker who sells Jade pieces. He said he gets it himself from New Zealand. It was really impressive and I fell in love with a swirly necklace. The market was a fun experience; however, I would recommend going on a day during the week and not at the weekend due to the amount of people.

Lena and I went to Hamden Park on Sunday. Soraya wanted to come as well, but her knees hurt t0o much from the day before. Lena bought some seeds form the park café and off we went. We first started to throw them on the floor for the pigeons and the ducks to eat them. I was curious If they would eat out of my hand I yesss. It took a lot of patience, but they slowly trusted us. They took one, ran back but then came again for the next one. That was the moment I realized I was going to spend a lot of time in the park in the next few months.
