Caffeeee. Soraya and I have gotten into the habit of going to a café every Monday afternoon. And now that the builders on the road in front of the school are gone, a new café opened. It is really cozy and the coffee is a hole pound cheaper. The guy working there is really friendly and we even had a chat with him. It definitely won’t be the last time we will be going in there.

On Tuesday I hadn’t had any school in the afternoon and decided to go to the beach. I sat down onto the pebbles and suddenly a seagull appeared about one meter next to me. It was a young one and really cute. It sat down and looked at me, like it was wondering what I was doing. I just don’t understand how people can hate them. I mean I get it, sometimes they are annoying, when they are trying to steal your food. But they are just trying to survive after all. And we are eating fish as well, the fish that would be the food of the seagulls if you look at our food chain. So why not just being kind to all animals.

We went to the science museum in London on Saturday. The train journey was a bit exhausting, but I was really excited. We looked at old inventions first. Mostly machines. It was very interesting, even though I did not think it would be. There was a massive part about the history of medicine on the first floor. A new, that it wouldn’t be the most interesting thing, but oh god, that wasn’t fun. All those disgusting machines and techniques. Oh, how glad I am to life now and not 100 years ago. I rushed though it and only read about one text on the hole floor. At lunch Soraya drew a face on her chai latte with her lip liner, and I thought I just had to share this moment. After the food break in the picknick room, we went downstairs to look at the part about space. How I loved that. I think that is one of the most interesting things in science. Like, what do you mean and humans were on the moon. It was interesting to read about all the people who ever where in space and what else they achieved in their lives. It was a great day and I would definitely recommend it.

I decided to go for a long walk on Sunday and when I though about the fact that I have never been to Hampden park, even though I live really close to it, I knew I had to change that. After a 20 minutes’ walk a arrived at the lake of the park. There were hundreds of birds and other animals. But the sweetest was definitely the young swan at the lake shore. It was curious about all the people watching and I took the opportunity to take a few pictures. Going to Hampden park on Sunday will probably turn into a weekly habit as well.
