Coffee Mondayyy! I love coffee and it makes me like Mondays. Soraya and I went to the Corner House Café again and it is definitely my favourite. The waiters are nice, and the Cappuccino tastes amazing. I will miss that, when I go back to Switzerland.

It was very windy and dark on Tuesday and the beach looked scary. The waves where hight and it felt like the pier was moving. And still I enjoyed going for a walk along the seaside.

We went on a trip to the War museum in London on Wednesday. I wasn’t too excited, because I did not want to spend my Birthday in a fake holocaust. But even though it was a very depressing topic, it was really interesting, and I would recommend it. We did a lot of walking, because there was a path through the hole museum. It was separated into three floors. The first world war, the second world war and then a hole floor about the concentration camps. I wish we had a bit more time, because after 2 hours of reading about the first world war, a break would have been great. There were a lot of texts you could read about soldiers and so on. There were diaries, letters and other original writings from the wars. And a lot of clothes, shoes, belts and helmets. That was the hardest part, because all the items where from that time, belonging to real people who suffered in the war. And even tough I wished we had more time, I was a relief to get out of that building.

The walk home on Friday was beautiful. Art finished early, so I decided to walk home, instead of taking the bus and coincidentally, just as I was walking home, the sun went down. The train track looked gorgeous. Normally, I don’t really like walking home, because my backpack makes my back hurt. But I didn’t mind on that day.

Lisa, Soraya and I went to London on Saturday. We had planned this trip for a while, and it just so happened not to rain (doesn’t happen often in England). After a one and a half hour train ride, we arrived in London Victoria. We walked past the Big Ben to Southbank. The roads around the tower were so packed, it was difficult to even walk by. We got lunch at a Japanese restaurant. We were even able to sit outside, because it wasn’t that cold. There were already a few Christmas markets, but none of us was in the mood for Christmas, so we just walked past them. After a quick pop in in a massive Waterstone bookstore we obviously went to get some coffee. What would life be without Cappuccino. We walked back to the train station through St. James’s park and past the Buckingham palace. And then we got sushi for the train ride back to Eastbourne. It was a lovely day and I a really glad that I took my camera with me, to capture a few moments.
