As always. Coffee on Monday afternoon. But something we made a bet about happened that day. The barista knows our order now. It was really funny when we didn’t even have to say anything.

I tried out lino printing in art class, and I really enjoyed it. It is difficult to carve the design out carefully at first, but it gets easier from time to time. And there is really no limit. You can create with ever design you want to. I will definitely do that more oven in the next few months.

It is getting dark at about 4 PM now, so every time I leave the school the sun has already gone down. It isn’t too good, because it’s also getting cold very fast and it makes it hard to walk home. The streets are way less save at night in England than is Switzerland. Especially as a young woman you have to be very careful and shouldn’t risk anything. But I do enjoy the dark sometimes. And now, that there are Christmas lights up everywhere, it is so beautiful outside. I’ve noticed the moon looking absolutely gorgeous on Thursday. I wish I could add a video to the blog, because the clouds were moving so fast, it looked beautiful.

We went on a trip to Portsmouth on Saturday. I knew the journey would be exhausting, but I didn’t expect that. The drive to Portsmouth took 3 hours, even though our teacher said, it would only take one and a half hours. I had a huge headache, and I felt like I had to throw up for the hole time. And sadly, that did not go away for the hole day. Gladly I was still able to enjoy most of the day. First, we had a tour through the HMS Victory, an old boat of the British navy. I was one of the boats that fought in the Battle of Trafalgar against France and Spain. I was very interesting but also really sad, because the told us all about the horrible life of the crew on the boat. After we had a choice between going on a boat trip on the sea or too the Marry Rose Museum, me and Soraya decided to go to the museum, because we both did not feel to well. The Museum was so impressive, because there was so much to see, but not that much to read. You were even able to look at the old shipwreck of the Marry Rose. Later we would have been able to go shopping in a big mall, but because it was the day after black Friday, there were way too many people. But we still enjoyed the rest of our time. And headed back to Eastbourne at about 5 PM.
