It is now Tuesday the second of September. I have been in Eastbourne for three days and I had a lovely time. The travel was quite exhausting, because I didn’t get a lot of sleep. But I had a great time anyway, because I met a lot of wonderful people. We arrived in Eastbourne at around 9 am on Sunday morning and my host father picked me up. I immediately got to sleep. In the afternoon we did a walk through town and I got to know my host family a bit better. They are lovely people.
On Monday morning I got to school and they introduced us to all the teachers. They are all really funny and nice, so I am excited for the first few real lessons. We did a little trip around Eastbourne and our teacher showed us some important shops and places.
In the afternoon we took the tour bus and drove to the Seven Sisters cliffs. It was really beautiful, even though the weather wasn’t too good, but I’ll have to get used to that I guess.
On Tuesday we talked a lot about rules, information, and other stuff at school. And we did a fun quiz where we had to walk around Eastbourne and find shops. After school I went to Starbucks with a friend and we had a lovely time. We had some trouble with the bus on our way home, but my family says it is quite normal here.
I really enjoyed my first three days and I am excited to do more fun things in the next few days. :3
