On Monday Soraya was not here in the afternoon because she went to London with her friend Lena from Switzerland. They went there for one night in order to see the musical Hamilton. Because of that she could not join me and my friend Lena at our weekly Coffee. Lena told me she would love to have a new profile picture, so we went to the beach to take a few photos.
On Tuesday afternoon I went to the gym and then to a Frontier Café to study for a test. My group actually won the competition of the special week even though we said the only important thing to us was having fun. So, as a price we were allowed to go eat out one night. We went to a pizza place, and it was a wonderful evening. The pizza was delicious and we had a lot of fun. Also, because Soraya was back by that time.
We had sun on Wednesday, and I have noticed what difference that make in my mood. It is already light outside when I get up in the morning now which makes getting out of bed much easier. I really enjoyed my singing lessons that day because I am singing a duet alone. This sound very boring but I am going to record both the harmonies and lay them over each other next week. I am really looking forward to that.
On Friday we had a history and culture trip in the afternoon. We were going to the tower of London. I was extremely excited for being able to see the crown jewels. Sadly, after the train ride I had quite a bad headache, so I was not really able to enjoy the two hours in the museum, but it eventually got better towards the end. After the museum we went to borough market for some free time in small groups. The sun suddenly coming out which was gorgeous because I was already starting to get dark. It was that perfect golden hour. The market was beautiful. It was colourful and alive. I immediately fell in love with it and I can’t wait for the das I will go back there.
On Saturday we had a pottery painting event a school and omg was that amazing. I drew on a little bowl. A pigeon inside and funky shapes on the outside. I can’t wait till we will get it back fired because the colours are supposed to change from a rose-beige to a terracotta red.
Anyway, this week was quite fun which probably has got something to do with the fact that the sun was out most days.
